Phil Parlin
Varsity Head Coach
This is Coach Phil Parlin’s 14th year at Plano Senior High School and fourth year as Plano’s Varsity Head Coach. Prior to the Varsity Head Coaching position, Coach Parlin was Plano’s Assistant Varsity Coach and JV Coach. As coach of the JV team, Coach Parlin helped to nurture much of the talent behind Plano’s 2006 Texas State 5A Championship Team. Prior to Coach Parlin’s tenure at Plano Senior High School, Coach Parlin was at Vines High School for six years and prior to Vines, Coach Parlin was at Schimelpfenig Middle School. Coach Parlin is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University and is currently teaching Physical Education at Stinson Elementary.

Jeff Vines
Varsity Asst. Coach
Coach Jeff Vines hails from Mesquite and played many games against Plano, so Coach Vines is quite familiar with the tradition and history at Plano Senior High School. Prior to attending THE University of North Texas, Coach Vines traveled to Australia to play basketball with other local Metroplex athletes. After college, Coach Vines began his coaching career by coaching the program at Rice Middle School and assisting the Plano Senior High School Varsity Boys Basketball program. During this tenure, Coach Vines was an Assistant Coach on the Plano Varsity Coaching Staff, which coached the Boys program to earn a UIL 5A Texas State Championship in 2006. In 2007, Coach Vines served as the Varsity Assistant Coach at McKinney North prior to returning to Plano. This is his fourth year as the Varsity assistant.

Toby Schulte
Jr Varsity Coach
Coach Schulte has been with the Plano ISD for 7 years and this is his fourth year at Plano Senior High School. Before coming to PSHS he was at Bowman and Hendrick middle schools for three years and at Jasper High School - a PSHS feeder school - for two years. Coach Schulte grew up in Nebraska and graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
