PLANO – At Plano, Cameron Johnson scored 24 points, and Lake Highlands held off a late charge by Plano in a District 9-5A victory.

Lake Highlands (14-6, 2-0) avenged an 80-73 loss to Plano (15-4, 1-1) in Saturday's championship game of the Plano Wildcat Holiday Classic. Plano point guard John Roberson scored 25 points and rallied his team from a 69-60 deficit in the fourth quarter, helping cut the lead to 70-68 with 1:12 left in the game.
